change the way one person thinks “front sight”

Dear Dr. Piazza,

I just read the 2nd gun training report and find it interesting. The front ramp on my Browning handgun is white to fullest part of the front sight with white dots on the rear. I never thought of blackening the front blade. I will try that when I shoot it the next time out. My S&W .38 has black sights front and rear. Both of these are my conceal weapons. This will probably change my way of thinking front sight.
