Eye-Opening Firearms Training Reports
April 18th, 2007
Hello Dr. Piazza,
First I want to Thank You for the newsletters. They are very informative and eye opening.
I still consider myself a beginner, even though I have owned a 1911 since I turned 21, and I am now 50. And the Colt I have has not been “customized” as the firearms world would like. No fancy trigger work, no match barrel, ect.. Just a beavertail safety and commander hammer, I got tried of getting “bit”. I am from the Old School, where Simple Is Good. K.I.S.S. Keep it Simple Stupid. And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
From what I have read so far, Your from the same school of thought. I am impressed with what I have learned just from reading your site. One of these days, I would like to come down to Vegas, and take your course on handguns.
After taking two years to consider the question of concealed carry, and weigh the pro’s and con’s, I took the steps, and should receive my permit soon…
