Growing Need for Personal Protection
May 1st, 2007
Dr Ignatius Piazza,
The reports are enjoyable and right in line with what I want to know. I would very much like to attend as much of the training as possible.
I am a very out-of-shape 60-year old math teacher with a wonderful wife and two grown and happy children. Four years in the U.S. Navy in the 1960’s gave me a chance to truly feel the privilege of being an American citizen. Having children at home was an excellent motivator to not have a firearm in the house. With no firearms training I was not going to put anyone at extra risk.
Now, however, there is a growing need to have personal protection available both at home and elsewhere. I don’t need much selling to appreciate the need for training. The quality of the training seems to be what is necessary to justify carrying a firearm responsibly.
My wife and I are both in education, have helped our two children through college and one through medical school, and certainly budget tightly to make ends meet. I will try to coordinate a vacation trip to Las Vegas for my family with time for me to spend at one or more of your courses. It will probably be next summer but I will keep in touch with your website, TV show and by email. Thanks for your insight, foresight, and motivation. I look forward to attending your courses.
Thanks again!!!
Duane
