Preserve our Gun Rights

Dr. Piazza,
I wanted to thank you for your time and passion in helping preserve our given rights to protect ourselves. My dad, brother and I took the 4-day handgun course in October of last year, and were blown away with what we learned! Not only are we more confident in our skills to prevail if we were ever involved in a gunfight, but we now also have the metal preparedness to be more aware of our surroundings and be able to avoid the fight altogether! I now have the passion to share what I’ve learned with my friends and loved ones, to make sure they’re physically and mentally prepared to overcome the threats that we may face day to day.
In taking your class, my mind has been opened up to becoming more aware of my surroundings everyday. Unfortunately, it seems that every time I open the newspaper or watch the news, I read about some gang shooting random people, school shootings, even home murders in what is considered a “safe area”…I recently heard about a woman being murdered in her own home in Simi Valley, which is only 1 city away from where we live! I always thought we lived in a safe area. It goes to show that no matter how safe an area is, there is always the presence of people willing to do others harm.
