Dr. Piazza,
I have been receiving your Free Gun Training Reports and wanted to thank you for the very valuable imformation I have learned from them!
It has made me aware of how vulnerable gun owners are when it comes to self defense of their home. I have shot guns all of my life and always felt that just because I had a gun by my bedside I would no longer be in danger. How wrong I was! I just felt that because I had a gun that the burglar would not be armed or would stand still and let me, who is only an average shot in daylight and perfect conditions shoot at him and maybe even reload with him waiting for me to do this! You made me painfully aware of “The Real World” when it comes to home defense.
I took a “Concealed to Carry” course so I could legally carry a concealed weapon and after reading your Gun Training Reports only showed me how inadequate that course was and could actually put my life in more danger if I found myself in a shoot out with a home invader. Reading your reports showed me some of the legal ramifications and justification for self defense should I ever find myself in that terrible situation.
I really appreciate you making me aware I do need more training than to just read about what I am so woefully short of–the actual experience of training for the possible situations I may someday find myself in. It is both financially and time restraints impossible for me to attend one of your courses at this time. I just hope I never become part of statistics you quote where people could have taken advantage of the special reasonable offers of your courses!
