Front Sight Mail Bag: Kudos for Stance on Second Amendment Rights
April 16th, 2009
Dear Dr. Piazza:
A few weeks back I requested (and received) the DVD and prospectus regarding Front Sight. I also had signed up for your online newsletters. At some point immediately following the unfortunate murder of the Baptist minister in, I believe, Maryland, you sent out an email which I took issue with and labeled as “profiteering” in an email to you. At that time, I also requested no further newsletters. You politely replied stating you did not agree with me and unsubscribed me from future newsletters/email contact.
In the interim, I finally had the opportunity to sit down and watch the DVD. I would like at this time to retract my statement about profiteering and congratulate you for your stance in garnering as much support as possible, not only for the protection of our Second Amendment rights, but also for top-flight training of citizens everywhere in the responsible ownership and use of firearms. I am seriously considering attending a 4-day handgun course, but have not yet perfused the paperwork accompanying the DVD with the dates and class schedules. At issue is, of course, my distance from Nevada (I am in New Hampshire) and the added expense of simply getting there, but I will do what I can to make that happen.
In the meantime, accept my sincere apology for my knee-jerk response. I extend to you my heartfelt thanks for the work you and your organization are doing. It is my great hope to be able to become a “First Family” member.
Sincerely,
Charles M.
