Front Sight Mail Bag: Ex Police Firearms Instructor Writes In
May 14th, 2009
Dear Dr. Ignatius Piazza,
I have just finished reading your report #2 and found it right on target. I am an ex Police Firearms instructor. My last competition qualification was as a Distinguished Master in 1973.
I am now going on 81 years old with my eyes not what they used to be and my reaction time much slower than it was.
I still practice on IDPA targets at least 30 times a year but I do not shoot competition anymore. I have a lot of fun and my practice is on movement and cover while putting some halfway decent hits on the target.
Thanks a lot for sending me these reports. One is never too old to learn something new or forgotten.
Sincerely,
Bill J
