Front Sight Mail Bag: Response to Blog Post

Dear Dr. Piazza,

I loved this most recent email.  I really like to hear, in detail, about stories like this.  I usually play the scenario through in my head, and visualize the most effective response several times.  If possible, I try to set up a training scenario that mimics the situation.  In this case, reaching for my “wallet”, and getting a firing grip on my weapon, and performing a simultaneous redirect of the opponents weapon and presentation of my own, and firing into the opponents center mass.

Thanks very much for this email.  Please continue to review and break down for all of us any incidents of violence such as this, so we can adequately prepare ourselves to respond to threats that realistically occur.
