In North Carolina, a state auditor is dead and an insurance agent has pled guilty to her murder. The man who pled guilty, Michael Howell, was being audited for twenty five counts of embezzlement. Her body was found a few days later in South Carolina. A childhood friend of the victim said, “There are a lot of lives that were ruined. It’s just tragic.
