Front Sight Mail Bag: Response from CA Law Enforcement Training Officer

Dr. Piazza,
I have checked out your Front Sight website and your video.
I think you have a awesome program going and I am always trying to get people at work to go.
I am employed in law enforcement in California and I am on a Crisis Response Team. I have been to operator 1 and operator 2 academies. When I saw the videos of your students following all of the fundamentals I was truly impressed. I am very impressed by your four day tactical handgun course and this is what I try to tell to everybody at work.
I tell people at work that most of the things that I learned in operator 1 academy is taught in your 4 day tactical handgun class without all of the running and pushups. So I truly belive that you are training people better than 95 percent of people who carry a weapon for a living. I donate so much of my time to the team and training potential team members that I personally don’t have time to go. I am trying to get people to go to your Front Sight classes and hopefully you will be seeing some people I have sent in the future, for me personally I will pay for my training through physical pay for performance.
I believe in what you are doing keep up the good work and I will try to do what I can on my end.
