Very Timely Gun Training Reports
October 10th, 2009
Dr. Piazza,
I am enjoying the newsletters but I was especially taken with the report on Cross Dominance. When I was in college, I shot a .22 rifle and always had problems hitting the target and just adjusted my aim.
However, I am now shooting a nice little Walther P22 and automatically seem to adjust to the right hand/left eye issue, thinking I was just weird. Now in my 60s, I just started using a pistol for relaxation (and self-protection, I live in South Texas on the border) and I am glad to see I am not the only “weird” shooter.
I have been continually amazed by your newsletters, how they seem to answer my questions just as I formulate them.
Just when another shooter at the range was bragging about reloading shells, came your newsletter about the dangers of reloading your own… LOL. I now ask for a space away from him. The photos were eye openers!!
Your article about the front and back sights with the white dots came just when I purchased my pistol, after trying several at the range.
For all your good advice… thank you!!
Renee V.
