Dr. Piazza,
I have NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR YOU. It’s funny. I am very socially liberal, but I believe strongly in the ability to defend yourself. History has proven time and time again that disarming good people only results in tyranny. Here in Canada handguns are SEVERELY controlled. I have a few and also have my appropriate licences. What’s next? In Australia they have already banned semi-automatic rifles, including .22 rimfire. I had a self-loading .22 rifle to hunt Snowshoe Hare with here in Canada when I was 15 years young. It brought larder to the table. No government is going to take that away from me! It’s time good citizens stood up for freedom. Instead of allowing ourselves to be brainwashed in to allowing these freedoms to be eroded. As in the “war on terror”, It’s more like an excuse to violate our constitutional rights.
