Front Sight Mail Bag: Heroes Welcome
March 1st, 2010
Dear Dr. Piazza,
This has been my favorite e-mail, in some time. I have always been frustrated that we pay more attention as a nation to the goblins than the heroes. Take the united flight passengers who crashed the plane on 911 and the women who stopped the church shootings in Colorado. We know the terrorists but not those who stepped up to defend their fellow Americans.
This individual recognition for heroic action is desperately needed in this nation. Additionally, the gun culture needs people like the Doctor to understand guns being used as tools for the prevention of heinous crimes. Introducing him to your world at Front Sight may enable the message to spread just a bit across academic America, where previously it is not allowed the light of day.
Well Done!
Scott V.
