Front Sight Mail Bag: Not a Politically Correct Statement

Dr. Piazza,
Thank you for your continued, consistent, common sense message that an armed society is a safe one. That message is not very ‘politically correct’, especially now. Now the right thing to do isn’t ‘PC’, but we’re tired of that. This police chief is a moron and should be fired. His advice to comply with a criminal’s demands is a recipe for slaughter, especially when the video talks of a recent incident where the victim did just that and was still murdered. As shown in this video, the police were nowhere to be found until after it all happened. I’m not blaming them, it’s just the common sense law of numbers. They can’t be everywhere and they know that and you still get advice like this from them. It sure would be nice to have law enforcement that actually stood on the side of law abiding citizens. One that basically said, ‘shoot em dead. We’ll support you’.
It’s very simple. This police chief’s message creates more fatalities and encourages criminals to continue on. Your message saves lives and will make crime a dying (literally and figuratively) profession for criminals.
