Front Sight Mail Bag: Gun Training Course Rated a 10

My wife Kathy and I both attended this course. We both have Michigan CCW licenses but have had no other handgun training other than indoor target range time.
I felt very strongly that my wife know how & when to use a handgun, so I wanted her to come to this course with me. The cost for the course plus an XD of our choice was so worth it!
She was the only female in a class of 26 but was not the least bit intimidated. She was slower than everyone else but got a tremendous amount of attention from all the trainers.
Our Range Master was remarkable. Very friendly, engaging and entertaining. He kept the course moving along like clockwork. Very serious and deliberate in all of the instruction. I was impressed by the amount of safety drills and reminders throughout the entire course.
I would rate everything about this course, the lectures, efficiency, facilities and staff a 10!!
I will tell my friends who also are just casual indoor target range rats, that it is amazing how much you don’t know, and after this course, how much there still is that you can learn and become proficient at. It made me realize how dangerous it is to carry and not have sufficient training to know what to do if you are ever forced to defend yourself or others.
